What is the first rule of Fight Club?

Asked by SuperMouse (30845points) December 26th, 2009

I have never seen the movie, but I thought the first rule of Fight Club is no one mentions Fight Club. Well, this morning I’m perusing the closings caused by our ginormous snow storm and I see the local fight club is canceled for today. Isn’t an announcement like that violating the first rule?

The first rule of Fight Club is to quote the F#&#ing movie as much as possible. That way people know you’ve seen it, thus making you appear as a deep, rebellious and intelligent individual.

The OP is breaking said rule, second rule as well.

No.

Quoting Fight Club is not why I appear deep, rebellious and inteligent.

@filmfann Bring it on! What I found interesting was that when I used the word, my spell check did not flag it.
