Those who have in the past tried psychoactive drugs, what was the good and the bad of the experience?

Let’s assume for avoidance of self incrimination that anything you disclose happened well beyond the statute of limitations, say back in the crazy 60s when everyone was turning on, tuning in and dropping out; and we are in no way discussing current behavior.

What did you take. What did you like about the experience? What did you not like? How did you avoid dependence, or if you became dependent, how did you break the addiction?

If there were some vacation Fantasy Island where you could currently go and all the worlds intoxicants were legally available for use under supervised conditions where there was no risk of overdose, bad reactions could be medically treated, and you could not get a supply sufficient to become addicted, what would you want to take if you won a week’s vacation there?
