How do our moderators have enough time after their moderation duties to enjoy the site?

There must be tons of flags to check, and just observing to do. A good deal of “Management by Walking Around” so to speak. After all that, can a moderator still find time for the simple pleasure of asking and answering questions, bantering with other jellies, and collecting their fair share of Lurve?
