Is there anything that's a MUST DO for you when you're celebrating something?

Asked by NaturallyMe (4937points) July 11th, 2010

For example, when i’ve got something to celebrate, be it a b’day or an accomplishment or anything, i must go out to eat at a nice restaurant. ‘Cause it’s fun and i love eating out, it’s a treat. :D

Probably must eat a pint of ice cream and celebrate with a dinner.

I probably call my mom first whenever something happens that’s worth celebrating.

@Simone_De_Beauvoir – yes, there has to be food at any celebration. :D

I’ve got a case of ‘96 Dom P laid by for the unlikely possibility of celebrating anything.

@stranger_in_a_strange_land – you never celebrate anything??

stranger_in_a_strange_land's avatar

@NaturallyMe Not in the last several years.

stranger_in_a_strange_land's avatar

@NaturallyMe There’s a possibility in the mid future though…

@stranger_in_a_strange_landwell…that’s good news!? Hehe… :) May i ask what that possibility is…?

It used to be alcohol, now I’m going for something new. In every celebration there must be laughter. Failing that- cupcakes will do.

In every birthday celebration there must be cake. It shouldn’t matter if you are 2 or 102 a person should have a birthday cake. Also a person should have balloons on their birthday.

If I didn’t vomit and pass out, I didn’t have fun.

@vbabe96 – i agree! Cakes are a MUST on b’days for me too. :D This year i didn’t get a cake (mostly because i didn’t go out and buy it myself!), it was a travesty. Next year i’m having 2 to make up for this year.

vbabe96's avatar

@NaturallyMe no one offered to make you a cake? I am always baking cakes for peoples birthdays. Keep me in mind for next year :)

@vbabe96 – i KNOW! Unbelievable, right?? Haha… My husband is not as much of a celebrater as i am (not that go overboard or anything). I told myself this year i’m not going to do anything for him either to get him back for my b’day episode, but…knowing me, i’d probably get him big cake with candles and lots of little presents and stuff. I think i have more fun giving presents and celebrating his b’day than he has getting the presents and stuff. :D
Tnx for the offer…i like chocolate cake by the way. ;)

Usually eat out at a restaurant something that can’t be made well at home. I love fancy food!
