What is there to do in (on?)/around Parris Island, SC?

It is close to Hilton Head with all of its attractions. You can also get some good seafood in Beaufort, a nearby city.

I went to Parris Island for my brothers Marine Corps Boot Camp graduation. Like @marinelife said, it’s close to Hilton head. My family didn’t do much until we got home, but if you are going to be there for a few days I’d suggest driving to see Brook Green gardens. It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s a beautiful place to see. :)

I think it’s five hours away, but it’s worth the drive. I thought I’d hate it, but they have beautiful statues, plants, ponds, etc. :D

@marinelife is right on with the Beaufort suggestion. Try some Low Country Boil. Mmmm, mmmmm.
The whole area is just nice and relaxed. I can recommend simply taking a chair to the beach and taking it all in.
