Do you know how to make a cat quit snoring?

Asked by delirium (13718points) March 31st, 2008

Seriously. This is SO annoying. I don’t wanna ruin his sleep, though.

I’d say waking him up or going to another room are your only options.

He keeps following me. Its really obnoxious.

Like this? This cat looks exactly like my Bela Lugosi! Same couch, too!

Is your cat overweight?

delirium's avatar

Yes, just like that. And no, its not my cat (I’m catsitting), nor is he overweight. He’s just…. snorrey.

roll the cat over, or like I do, pet the belly! My cat rolls, but doesn’t seem too disturbed or annoyed.

Lock him in another room, or just out of the room you’re in. Or You could always just kick it ;)

NO KICKING!
And he can open doors. :(
At least he’s kinda cute, although annoying.

I tried the rolling trick, he rolls back over. :[

lol I was just kidding, kicking it would be mean. Get some ear plugs or just put some headphones on

If he’s not overweight, he may have a physiological abnormality (my Dad’s persian has an extended soft palate, for example, and I cannot share a room with that cat!). I’m afraid there’s not anything your going to me able to do about it.

Maybe try doing random things to his sleeping situation. A blanket over him might work or at least muffle him.
