What was Griswold v. Connecticut (1965) about?

Asked by ezraglenn (3502points) May 1st, 2007
Basically, I need to write a couple of paragraphs for a 20th Century American History class about the case, what the conflict was, what the majority opinion was, what the minority opinion was, and answer the question "How was this an activist decision?" Its due tomorrow, the wikipedia page isnt working, dont know what thats about, and I just need some background info or a website I can look to for more information. I know it had something to do with Planned Parenthood in New Haven, CT and Estelle Griswold was involved, but I dont really know anything else. Any help will do, thanks!

Wow. As a lawyer, I know the answer, but as a teacher, I cannot be irresponsible in giving you an answer for a class assignment. Perhaps you should try going to a library.
