How do I make my "header" different on my paper?

My header on Microsoft Works Word Processor stays the same on each page, can I cange it so I can number the pages?

There should be a place in either the header set-up or one of the formatting boxes where you can turn on consecutive numbering.

Go to the View menu
Select Header and Footer
A new toolbar will appear above the current page on the left hand side is a little page with the # in it.
Select that. It will automatically number your pages.
