@Seelix I know! They’re silly, insignificant things, but they do make me smile! A fellow jelly posted on my fb page that I finally got my 5k award, so I checked, and saw I also finally had my Pilgrim, Mer-Jelly and Jules Verne! <smile>

I’ve seen references here and there to awards “not working”, and I’m curious – how did they stop working? Are they still considered fixed? Why do specific ones not work?

Over to the right there are notices. Some times they’re about people get some award or another, but what wasn’t working was we weren’t getting notification of good answers and good questions being given. Sometimes that’s the only way to find out where the action is.

I don’t know that the awards themselves were ever broken. I don’t particularly care for the awards because I don’t have the faintest idea of how to achieve the more obscure ones.

Oh weird – thanks, @Dutchess_III, I’ve never tried to follow the notifications because they don’t seem to be in real time (or at least there’s too much going on there for me to follow it). But I am perplexed about the awards themselves, which seem not always to be given when the required hurdle has been leapt.

Hell, half the time you don’t even know what the hurdles are! One, the frizzer award, has something to do with pancakes and frizzers and cake and….I don’t know what all!

Hah! Yes, I’ve noticed that some of them are, shall we say…. obscure. Looking forward to getting a few of those. :)

A few awards still don’t work (or maybe don’t work properly). RobotCrush can’t be obtained right now, because Flutherbot is still (and always) sick, and the attendance awards don’t seem to be quite right, either. I think everything else is working again, though.

@dappled_leaves There was a coding error or something that caused a bunch of trouble with awards. Took us a while to locate and fix it.
