A freshly made plain bagel from Bagel Power in Scarsdale, NY (which is about 250 miles from me, sadly). Yummmmmm!

Salad is and always has been my favorite food. I love me some lettuce.

hmmm,can I choose more than 1 ? I love too many things….

novemberrain's avatar

@queenie Of course you can! Go hard

Garlic Bread.

Side of ribs slow cooked on the grill over some cherry wood chips. It takes at least 3–4 hours to do them right, I don’t like ribs that have been started in the oven and finished on the grill.

Darn questions make me hungry and I’m trying to pretend this green smoothie is filling. grrrrrrr….
Spaghetti and meat sauce with cayenne on top
Outback baked potato with the works
Crab legs dipped in hot butter
Hoagie from NJ
I can’t take much more of this.
Chips and guacomole
Chicken salad with walnuts and grapes called Heavenly Chicken Salad
Huge bowl of snak ramen I make with slivers of cabbage, sauteed mushrooms and ginger teriyaki sauce. enough, already.

MilkyWay's avatar

@Aster At first glance I thought it said snake remains rather than “snak ramen” .....
All this has made me hungry….right now I’m munching on sunflower seeds : )

novemberrain's avatar

@faye omg, christmas food… Need i say more? YUM
especially left-overs the next day.

Aster's avatar

sunflower seeds. Those would not quite make the grade if I felt hungry. I’m gonna have to go make some ramen now. darn it.

novemberrain's avatar

I also love pork crackle. I don’t care if it’s fatty

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

Did someone say cheesecake??

JustJessica's avatar

Carne asada fries
Greek yogurt
Cheese (all types)
Milk (I love milk too much)
BACON
deviled eggs
guacamole (or just avocados in general)
BACON biscuits and gravy
BACON waffles with fresh fruit
fresh citrus (tangerines are my fave fave)

Leave it up to the fat girl to come up with a list longer than your arm. Hey it may kill me but I live to eat I don’t eat to live. You only live once you might as well enjoy everything.

MilkyWay's avatar

@ANef_is_Enuf Oh yes they did! CHEESECAKE BABY!

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

I didn’t realise we could pick more than one thing. Y’all are making me hungry.

novemberrain's avatar

@JustJessica Amen!
P.s I love bacon

@Neurotic_David: I work not far from Scarsdale and I am there a few times a week so I will find Bagel Power sometime soon and try it out!

As far as what I like: it’s hard to narrow down and sometimes it depends on my mood:
nothing like a good steak
strawberry short cake (home made, only)
apple pie (My mom’s, homemade, only)
mac and cheese (homemade)
ambrosia
lasagna
lamb chops and string beans (my grandma used to cook this for me)
ice cream cone on a hot summer night, preferably chocolate chip mint or peach

that’s the short list…..

Pizza (particularly anything real spicy), chicken, pickles, pizza pops, sandwiches from Subway, human flesh, raspberries, grilled cheeses, meatloaf, ribs, bugs, banana peppers, Kraft Dinner, beer, oysters, steak, various forms of pasta but not Alfredo, fried shrimp with cherry sauce, poutine, bacon and eggs. Coffee. And Golden Grahams.

Facade's avatar

Pretty much anything with cheese on it.

tedibear's avatar

My homemade macaroni and cheese.
My BIL’s grilled chicken. (Try though I may, I can’t seem to figure out how he does that!)
My mom’s chocolate cake with fudge frosting. (Something else I can’t get just right.)
Chicken wings with blue cheese dressing. You ranch-dressing-with-chicken-wings people are just blasphmers.
Pizza with extra cheese.
Cheese.
A good salad with grilled chicken.
My hubby’s marinara with my meatballs.
Meatloaf.
Oh dear, now I’m hungry…

WestRiverrat's avatar

For quick and easy I like grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, or BLTs with French onion soup.

jca's avatar

and speaking of bagels, being in a coffee shop with a coffee and a toasted sesame bagel with either butter or cream cheese (it’s the whole coffee shop, coffee, warm and fuzzy feeling that I get that adds to the thrill).

novemberrain's avatar

@jca I looove bagels with cream cheese and raspberry jam

Tuesdays_Child's avatar

Oh my cow!! No, really, most any part of a cow that is edible; fried green beans, black raspberry cobbler, garlic mashed potatos, any chinese food, homemade pizza, thai coconut chicken soup, paella, shrimp, mussels…..gotta go to the kitchen for a snack of smoked oysters! ;~D

laineybug's avatar

Bacon, steak, strawberries, ice cream, cheesecake, apples, and uhm… more steak. Oh, and did I mention steak?

Neurotic_David's avatar

@jca enjoy! Bagels are, of course, subjective. But I think theirs are the best in the world. It was Mel and Miriam for 30 or 40 years. They sold the business to an Asian couple, but the new owners still use the same recipe and process, and the premises are still kosher.

Yummmmmm!

JustJessica's avatar

Oh I forgot Boysenberries and Boysenberry cobbler!!!

I love a traditional British fish and chips. I also really love vegetables, I can take or leave carrots but other than that, I’d rather have a plate full of veggies than lots of meat. Oh and cheese. Mature cheddar to be excat.

WestRiverrat's avatar

Breakfast this morning was a waffle, bacon, egg and cheese sandwich.
