Is it possible to make Turkish Delight at home?

Asked by MilkyWay (13745points) May 29th, 2011

I love Turkish Delight, especially Rose flavoured.
I was wondering if any of the other jellies knew if it’s possible to make it at home. If yes, would you be willing to share the recipe with me?

My kids made Turkish Delight a time or two for school projects. I don’t know what recipe they used, but it’s definitely possible to make at home.

Is there some other sweet that Turkish Delight is similar too? I am not familiar with it,but it looks wonderful.

@wilma Turkish Delight consists of Gelatine I think as it has a jelly like texture… but I have not come across a sweet similiar to it.
@BarnacleBill Thanks for that, it looks yummy! :D
