What would your own funny or weird ad say?
I was perusing a popular ads website and chanced upon this posting that I could not help but laugh a bit about. If you would post an ad like this, what would it say? The ad is as follows…
…I hate laundry!! Whites (sheets, towels, and personal items) get done every week, but I never seem to be able to catch up with my work & weekend clothes. My ideal situation would be for you to be local, pick up my laundry and bring it back in two days. Everything is wash and wear, so I’ll give you hangers for blouses and pants, shorts and T’s can be folded. I’ll provide detergent and dryer sheets if you like…it’s up to you. I can pay $50 to catch it up and if you’d like to continue…we can negotiate a weekly price. I’m not interested in taking this to a professional…I’d prefer to give it someone who doesn’t mind laundry and needs the money.

Free one medium size sand bag.
Bought as burial shroud for dead cat, cat did not fit.
It was too hard and stressful trying to stuff said dead cat into bag.
His tail and hind legs could not be properly bagged.
Opted to bury him in an orange beach towel which is probably more biodegradable than a woven plastic sand bag.
Would make a fine burial bag for a smaller pet such as a dwarf rabbit or up to a 3 dozen Hamsters.

Not original but memorable. Years ago (after 1962 clearlly), there was a placard in a window of a laundry. It read, “Lawrence of Arabia does his sheets here.”
Not mine .. a funeral home in my home town ” like it or not everything is in our reach ” or ” want it or not you still end up here ” .
I couldn’t stop laughing when I firs saw them a few years ago on the street .
Wanted. Someone who can invent an energy pill thats not illegal or will hurt my health by causing some side effects like ulcers or internal bleeding or death.
