What's up with the touch on my LG Xenon?

All of a sudden, the touch buttons on my purple LG Xenon aren’t working. That is, they work, but they don’t correspond to whichever button I choose to touch. I’m frustrated because it’s only an 8 month old phone and I didn’t drop it recently or anything.

Have you tried the Touch Calibration feature to correct the touch function?

Well, it was working yesterday all afternoon. So I did the calibration. Today it’s not working again. I’m just going to take it in. I called and apparently its still covered by the warranty so they’ll fix it for free.
