What was the first Dracula movie that showed fangs?

Asked by mazingerz88 (28820points) November 10th, 2011

I just saw the 1931 classic DRACULA movie with Bela Lugosi and was a bit surprised that I did not see any fangs. Would it have been censored? Now, I’m wondering which movie first showed Dracula with fangs and what year? Thanks.

according to the Vampire Data Base

“The first talkie vampire to sport fangs was Atif Kaptan’s Drakula in the Turkish production Drakula Istanbulda (1953); the first widely-known portrayal of a fanged movie vampire was Christopher Lee’s Dracula in Horror of Dracula (1958).”
