Language learning: Are there any forums which hook natives up with learners so they can do a language exchange?

Asked by lemming (3913 points ) March 1st, 2012

I’m looking for an ideally native French speaker who needs help with their English…I found an English site but most of the people there are Fluent in English and are looking for foreign language speakers like me :/

Don’t suppose anyone has come accross anything?

I’ve heard that the site livemocha.com does this.

Check out “My Language Exchange.”: http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/ I found a Dutch study group here.

sharedtalk, busuu, palabea, myhappyplanet, lenguajero, iwanttospeak.

I use livemocha and sharedtalk more than the others. Just found them to have a more active user base.

WordReference.com also has its own forums where you can ask questions about languages you are learning and answer questions about languages you already know.
