IPod Touch jailbreak help...

Asked by Theotherkid (889points) May 25th, 2008

Ok so I jailbroke my ipod touch with ziphone and played around with it for a little while. I then restored it but after a little while I wanted to jailbreak again. So I tried jailbreaking again and when my ipod was almost done with the jailbreak it had a black screen with a small white box at the top left hand corner. I had to restore it because it wasn’t doing anything. How can I avoid this when I try to jailbreak my iPod again?

Delete ziphone, uninstall it and then go back to http://ziphone.org and install it again. I did the same thing so I just did that process right there and it fixed that little ziphone glitch.

I used liberty 1.2+ and found it to be so much easier and more effective than ziphone. Try it as an alternative to ziphone and hopefully you wot have the same problem.

I’ll go ahead and uninstall ziphone and try again. If that doesn’t work, I’ll try what you mentioned Eambos. Unfortunately, I need to be getting to bed now so I’ll tell you guys how it went tomorrow.
