A friend of mine is using it. It made her hair grow in coarser, but it did seem to work. It took about 4 months for her to see any growth.

I used rogaine with alcohol based 5%? bought from costco and it worked for me but irritated my scalp due to alcohol. I researched and found an amazing product without alcohol and within one week tons of new hair growth in an almost bald golf size patch. Think eddie munster baldness in the front sides of forehead. I also researched and discovered laser therapy and used it in conjuction with this product. I splurge and bought the laser helmet it was expensive but safer. It was also way cheaper than going to the laser hair clinics though. So as a female who freaked out when seeing 100 strands lost per day I now have tons of hair and it’s been a year now and I only use the products as needed. I think in total i used the product on a weekly basis for 1–2 months only. NOT even everyday. There are pros and cons so research for yourself as remember rogaine used to be a prescription drug and the product i used THAT WORKED FOR ME is 15% strength so three times stronger than drugstore sold rogaine-hence the speed of return of hair growth. Industry recommends 2% for women and 5% for man. I am a female and i used 15% I DID NOT GROW facial hair but please this is my experience only. The laser is apparently safe. These two products saved me and I have tons of hair now. Rogaine aka minoxidil product is Dualgen-15 no PG which means no alcohol. Yes, i did notice a few more extra hair loss when I stopped completely using dualgen so i now use for about 2–3 times in one week and then completely stop with touch ups here and down. The longest i’ve gone without using anything is aboug 4 months and then i noticed a few extra strands loss so i’ll touch up. I WILL NOT USE IT EVERYDAY LONGTERM only as needed after the initial baldness. The laser helmet is made by a private person who is the coolest person in the world. He’s very knowledgeable on hair loss and he made this helmet that looks so ugly but it really works and cost about one year’s worth of laser treatement but you get to keep the helmet for life…..ladies remember menopause will cause hair loss for life. Google: laser helmet or messiah helmet? He recommends NOT BUYING the commercial made helmets because they don’t work. Research for yourself and do what’s best for you. PS cheapest route is to pay about $30–35 for bottle of dualgen. Best wishes to everyone who reads this. These products also work for males too.
