So I’ve been watching “It’s Always Sunny” and they have this style of music as their theme and for background music. Does anyone know what style of music it is?

Orchestral popular music. (from the 50s).

@marinelife I thought that it was a particular style because I’ve heard it in so many places (radio shows, background in movies, etc)... oh well. Maybe not.

I agree w/ @marinelife that is has a very 1950s sound.

Someone commented on that Amazon page, calling it Elevator Music. I think that’s a good description. I consider Elevator Music a genre, but not sure if it is really considered one. Either way, I love that kind of stuff. Very 50’s.

Orchestral/Waltz

here’s the composer Heinz Kiessling

Apparently he composed music with the direct intention of making others feel good, sad or anything as it related to a particular show he was working on.
