Why is my tactic3d headset flashing blue?

I’ve tried filing a support ticket, but as it’s the weekend, i don’t expect a reply until Monday.

I have a Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage wireless headset. I bought it last month and its been working great until last night. The LEDs on the side are flashing a consistent blue and have been for the past 24 hours. There is a dim glow on the mute button, but the power button will not do anything.

Is there a reason it is doing this? And is it possible for me to fix it without waiting for support?

Looking at the manual I’m guessing it might need manually pairing with the USB transmitter.

I tried that. Unfortunately, none of the buttons on it will respond so I can’t get it to pair at all.

An update: I still don’t know what caused the issue, but allowing the headset to completely drain (Took about 48 hours) and shut off from lack of power, then charging it fixed it.
