What else could cause short breath, feeling faint, and nausea?

Asked by chelle21689 (7907points) May 17th, 2013

So I’ve been to the doctor a couple times and had a bunch of blood tests done for my thyroid, electrolytes, hemoglobin, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, and everything came back normal.

I have PVC so I don’t know if that has to do with it but the cardiologist and electrologist said everything looked normal.

I don’t know what else could be the reason. If it’s because PVC then I just have to live with it. They’re not really sure why I feel this way, could it be because of the constant heart palpitations? I asked if I needed a catscan or anything but the doctor doesn’t think it’s serious.

Could it be low blood pressure? I’m on the low side but still normal. I’m just sick and tired of going to the doctors all the time.

What is PVC?

@rosehips I’d guess premature ventricular contraction – symptoms can include dizziness and shortness of breath

Oh thank you @lightlyseared. So unless there is a significant spike in SOB and dizziness we are left with nausua.

Can it be treated Chelle?

Maybe some sort of anxiety thing. If you got recently diagnosed or are facing stress there could be a psychological component.

Sorry about your diagnoses chelle.

I’ve had PAC’s (pre atrial contraction) that gave me the same symptoms as yours. I also was told to live with it by My cardiologist Because it is not a life-threatening condition. The symptoms went away over time.

Good health to you!

Sounds like my last pregnancy.

Are you sure you are getting enough sleep and eating a healthy diet? Sometimes the simplest things can really make a difference.

I don’t feel anxiety?
