Can you recommend a brand for at home salon waxing?

Asked by nuclear (296points) August 12th, 2013

I am looking for a good brand of hard salon wax, and a heating device to use wax at home like they do in the salon (for arms, legs, etc). Could anyone recommend a good brand for these products?

Nufree. It doesn’t adhere to skin, so you can get out nose hairs, ear hairs, etc…with no pain. It’s good stuff.

Thanks, I like the look of this! Can I simply buy Nufree and melt it in a standard heating pot?

Oh yeah! Have you removed your nose hair before, it’s one of the greatest feelings ever, you can breathe about 10x better – lol

Haha! I’ll have to give it a try. Does this wax need to be removed with the fabric strips, or does it rip off like hard wax? Also, where do you buy it? I checked google but it seems to just point me in the direction of salons that use it. Thanks for your help :)

Rips off, like hard wax. Most beauty supply stores, I think, my mother-in-law was a cosmotologist and turned me onto it.

Thanks! I will check out Sally’s, might be a good bet.

I like Sally Hansen’s All over brazilian wax :)
