Nothing to add.
The eyes of a mantis shrimp
“some species are capable of seeing light that is invisible to us, distinguishing more shades of visible light than us, and detecting properties of light impossible for humans to comprehend.”
A migrating animals magnetosense
My first choice is the same as @uberbatman ‘s. you beat me to it :p
Eyesight like a common housefly would be cool too.
Not a sense exactly but I’d like to try out a seahorse’s hermaphroditism.
Run like a Cheetah fly like a bird and bite like a lion.
Eyes of a bird and wings.
Cat like agility. I want to scale a wall, jump high enough to catch a bird as it flies from the ground and sleep in any position and never feel sore.
Sonar from bats.
Can’t dolphins predict the future somehow? That’d be a cool sense to have for a day.
@dxs they can only tell when the planet is about to be paved over. That barely counts.
The ability to lick my genitals, like that of a dawg/pussy cat…that would be mildly amusing.
Balls in your mouth, even you own, are still balls in your mouth.
Who the fuck said out about knackers?
Eyes of an insect that can see beyond what we call the visible spectrum. I have always longed to see unimaginable colors.
I read this short story by Ambrose Bierce when I was about eleven or twelve, and it put the idea into my head. Ever since, it’s just sort of been there as an impossible wish.
Can I adapt my answer? Thanks awfully, very English of you m’darlings.
I’d like the eye of the tiger, coz i’m a survivor…that was so worth it.
My answer has already been taken (eyes of a Mantis shrimp) but I have a funny story about a dogs nose.
No, not THAT joke.
I was walking my dog and she stopped to sniff a tree. My friend, who was with me, said “She’s reading her pee-mail”.
@downtide It’s very disconcerting when it snows and you can see why your dog is sniffing that spot!
For those who also said mantis shrimp, this comic is hilarious if you haven’t seen it yet.
Huh. Turns mantis shrimp was a meme. The wily internet meme, sneaking upon the unsuspecting like a rick roll. Or two girls with one glass between them.
The taste of any lepidopteran. It would really be something to be able to perceive and control pheromone signals consciously. I’ve wanted this sense ever since I read Clare Bell’s People of the Sky years ago.
I would like to have the dog’s sense of contentment. My dog is so happy——all the time. I would like that just for one day.
