What free books can you recomend with a Kobo Touch?

Asked by talljasperman (21916points) December 7th, 2013

I’ve had the Kobo Touch for a week now and I’m having difficulties searching by price. (Specifically for free books) I’ve found five but It took a hour to find them. Can you recommend a book or books or magazine that would work on a Kobo Touch… This is the first time that I purchased an e-reader.

Check your local library. Ours has signed up for books that you can download for free. I think they already paid a price so the members could get them free. How cool is that?

Kobo can use ePubs,

Project Gutenberg and Google Books have millions of free ePubs.

This is the best reason to avoid Amazon Kindle e-readers. Amazon made it harder to use free ePubs, to keep you locked into their store.

I use gutenberg.org heavily. Love it :)
