What does cocaine smell like?

Neither will get you high just by smelling. But you might think it did.

Low grade coke smells like acetone (nail polish remover) because that’s what is used to bond the cut (usually baby powder or baking soda) to the coke. High grade coke that hasn’t been cut for street sale yet doesn’t have much of a smell – maybe a really faint buttery aroma. Yes, you can smell it without getting high, but what’s the point?

@wildpotato I had no clue it smelled like acetone. Makes me question even more how people can tolerate snorting it.

Smells like butter, butyl alcohol, and sugar. All together. It’s very, very faint.

For the jellies who have given the answer for this question: how do you know that? Have you tried cocaine before?
