What does it mean when preadmission disability is dependant?

Asked by drhat77 (6197points) May 5th, 2014

This is a calculator to help guide stroke treatment. http://www.sorcan.ca/iscore/index.html There is a question field regarding preadmission disability with only one option, “dependant”, but I have no clue what that means. Thanks guys.

I would take it to mean the amount of assistance someone needs with daily activities of living.

I understand this to be asking whether prior to admission you had a disability that makes you dependent on a caregiver.
