Sad, she was great, LOVED the hillbillies even to this very day.

Very hard to believe she could be so old. Fond memories. RIP.

I LOVED her and have almost all “The Beverley Hillbillies” on DVD. One of the funniest shows ever with the best cast of characters. Besides, I relate to Ellie Mays character 100%, I’m getting older now too but I have been a blonde cutie with a passel of pets fur-ever too.
Ellie May was so hot in her rope belted jeans and hillbilly hat. haha

Dearest Ellie, I hope there’s plenty of critters in that mansion in the sky and a cement pond full of Pink Chickens. ;-)

In my mind she will always be that pretty young woman, Elly May Clampett.

She remained a good-looking woman for as long as I saw.

Hardly a week goes by that The Beverly Hillbillies is not mentioned in my household (or in my head).

I got to meet her when I was on the set of a TV special she was on. She was very genuinely sweet and nice.

The day before she passed, SyFy showed the Twilight Zone episode where she played a (perceived) ugly woman waiting for the plastic surgery bandages to come off. She was just enchanting.
