Is there an easy way to backup all my drivers?

Asked by Tank8131 (106points) July 16th, 2007

I'm getting ready to do a fresh install of Vista. (I did the upgrade only first and now I just want to do a clean install) I had a terrible mess of a time getting all the right drivers I have now. So, is there a fold that stores all the drivers that I can copy onto an external hard drive now and then replace the new one once it's finished installing?

download a trial of this program http://www.drivermagician.com/download.htm
if you don't want to buy the program, you can still use it to do a backup, but you'll have to restore the drivers on your own. just save the driver magician folder on your external drive.
