Does "own the building" have another meaning (in slang or idiom)?

Asked by cofeka (154points) August 19th, 2015

At 1:59 in this YouTube video (https://youtu.be/_Hdxs4JVeLk), someone asked the Ed Debevic’s waitress why they don’t have spaghetti but have pizza, and she said, “That’s because we get it from Gino’s, because we own the building.”

Does that mean Ed Debevic’s own the building where Italian restaurant Gino’s locates at or it has another meaning?

No, it’s meant literally. Both Debevic’s and Gino’s are owned by the same corporate group, Bravo Restaurants. Until recently, they were right across the street from each other.
