How can I change the picture ( apple logo ) when my iPod restarts without hacking?

Asked by Theotherkid (889points) July 28th, 2008 from iPhone

Is there an application that will allow me to look at files on my iPod? I’m on a mac with a 2.0 non-jailbroken iPod touch.

There is this application called PhoneView, which allows you to browse your non-jailbroken device, but I don’t think you can browse deep enough into the file-system.

I found iphonelist. Has anyone used this? I can’t use it right now because I’m on a mac and I still have to figure out how I can activate Windows on bootcamp.

@Theotherkid – does that include iPod Touch, and will I need to jailbreak?

I don’t think you need to jailbreak…
I can’t use the application at the moment and the website doesn’t say your iPod needs to be jailbroken.

I also just found iFuntastic. Has anyone used this with a non-jailbroken iPod? Unfortunately I can’t try it since it only works with 1.1.4 and under at the moment.

Never mind, iFuntastic only works with jailbroken iPods.
