How much would you pay a part-time office manager or bookkeeper?

I would guess 15 to 20 bucks an hour. I am guessing. Maybe that’s too low?

In my area going rate is between $12 and $15 per hour, and 90% of places want you to be bilingual and have specific experience in the field. The higher end seems to be medical office assistant which requires special training, and the lower is construction. There were a few outliers that, at $10/hr appeared to be retail sales jobs with a fancy title.

In Australia, I found a site that said about AU$26 per hour. I know my husband pays his casual bookkeeper about AU$50ph. She’s highly qualified and experienced though.
