Game of Thrones fans, who is your favourite Game of Thrones character and why?

Tyrion Lannister.

He has the best lines, the best attitude, and is really the anchor of sanity for the whole series.

@ragingloli That was in Lord of the Rings. But Sean Bean does play a character in Game of Thrones called Eddard (Ned) Stark.

If we’re talking about the show only though, Sandor Clegane, Braum, Tyrion Lannister, and Varus to a lesser extent. I feel like by season 3, I was really only watching the show for these four characters.

I think the show has improved immensely since they kicked the author off the writing team.

It’s actually entertaining on purpose now.

Politically, he needs a high-born queen because he’s just a bastard, and she needs a locally popular king because she’s become a foreigner to Westeros. It’s bound to happen.
