Does anyone here enjoy drinking Perrier or Pellegrino? Why or why not?

Asked by AloraCrimson (503points) June 20th, 2017

Do you guys enjoy drinking Perrier or Pellegrino?

Why or why not ?

Do you think they are better / worse / or average than regular bottled water such as Fiji, Dasani, Crystal Geyser, et?

I like sparkling water a lot. I often add shrub (drinking vinegars made from fruit) to it.

I enjoy fizzy water and drink some every day; right now, I have a glass nearby on my desk. But, I always go for el-cheapo seltzer, not for overpriced sparkling water.

I don’t. It costs too much. Water is water. Sort of like underwear is underwear. Polo costs more than Jockey. They do the same thing.

True! Haven’t thought ofit like that! I only ask because I tried Perrier for the first time ever today! Wasn’t sure about it so I though I’d ask you guys :)

@Hawaii_Jake

Why do you like sparkling water a lot? Is there better health benefits to it ? Or you just like the fizziness ? I tried Perrier for the first time ever today so that’s why I ask. Do you think it’s okay to drink it everyday…?

I like the taste of sparkling water. Tastes nice.

I don’t think there is a problem with drinking it but you know the old saying – everything in moderation. Don’t go mad for it.

I do and it took me a while to warm up to it since it is expensive. My wife got me on to them and I would never have tried fancy fizzy water unless she had not stocked the fridge with it. I really like san pellegrino.

No. I’d never in a million years pay money for something that is at my fingertips for free.

@AloraCrimson There are no more health benefits to any bottled water than there are in tap water, or water from the hose. Unless you live in Flint, Michigan.

ARE_you_kidding_me's avatar

The health benefits are it’s not soda but satisfies like soda. Try a bottle of San Pellegrino and you’ll see it’s not simply bottled water.

I hate fizz in my water. Yuck…. It’s just all wrong…

Me too! Just get a glass of water and dump some baking soda in it!
