I believe it was Punky’s Dilemma although I had thought it referred to alphabet soup. Thanks all.

I’m pretty certain that @Tropical_Willie nailed it with “Punky’s Dilemma”, but on the off chance that there might be something else, and while searching, I came across this delightful interview with Art Garfunkel.
