If I return from Sweden to Poland with my 2 days expired student visa, will it be problem to re-enter the country?

Asked by random_student (7points) November 15th, 2018

I am a full-time student in Poland with a Schengen visa and I booked a holiday ticket to Sweden. At the return to Poland my visa already expires 2 days ( there are no flights on my last visa date), will it be a problem to re-enter the country? I also applied for residence permit but haven’t got it yet. But I have a document that shows that I applied for it. Will Ryanair check my visa for this Schengen Area flight?

There’s no one here who is qualified to answer. You would have to check with the Polish consulate in Sweden if there is one.

Poland and Sweden are both Schengen countries. If you require a Schengen visa you should ensure you have a valid one. If you don’t have a residence permit or a valid Schengen visa you will be in the country illegally. Travel between Schengen countries is usually hassle free but if you are of non Schengen country nationality there could be a problem. I would get in touch with your national embassy or consulate in Poland to explain things to them.
