Back in the mid-2000s. Moved for job / professional purposes to Boston.

The job was good, but I hated Boston. I could deal with the weather; no problem. The people were so unfriendly. Traffic was awful. It was not a welcoming place.

I found another position and moved South three years later.

I moved from a major city to a Town situated in a National Park System and have not regretted it at all.
I love nature and the outdoors and in Summer tourist season meet so many people from around the world .
I really don’t need to travel the world as it comes to me.
If considering moving go to that place and have a vacation to see if you would like it there.

Yes. about 20 years ago I moved from a place I loved across the country to where I am now. I like it OK, and the move benefited a number of people, but I was, unfortunately, not one of them. There was too much negative stuff and heartbreak.
It was for family.
I can’t go back, but if I had known then what I know now I probably wouldn’t have done it.
