Do you have any suggestions for some much needed comedic relief?

Asked by Jons_Blond (8253points) April 8th, 2020 from iPhone

Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV?

March was a terrible month. I’m depressed. We put our dog down March 1, then the virus came along. Work has me worried and stressed. I need a break from reality.

Any suggestion is appreciated. I’m looking for something to binge.

SportsNight. Aaron Sorkin wrote it. Very funny, and you don’t need to know a lot about sports.

^ I love Jimmy. Thank you!

Edit: I’m watching the video you shared. What a great ending to a shitty day.

I was going to say The Office.
I recently binge watched Curb Your Enthusiasm and saw where many of the Seinfeld gags came from.I still have the last two seasons to go on that series.
Vunessuh (remember her?) recommended Parks & Recreation. I tried but failed.
I was sent “Some Good News With John Krasinski” this morning. For some reason, I cannot post the YouTube link.
I haven’t watched it yet but it might be funny :)

Not sure how sensitive you are to outrageous ( even sick ) kind of humor. Family Guy and South Park maybe?

Or…an old favorite of mine. Doc Martin.

How about some old sketches from the Carol Burnett Show of yore? Some of them are still as funny as they were the first time, and they don’t depend on meanness, at least not as I remember them. Definitely not sick or gross. I think a lot of them are on YouTube now.

^^Yup. Saw a few of them in YT.
