What do you suggest for a liquid diet?

Just for a few days, no one is dying, and it isn’t to lose weight.

Smoothies, yum. I love liquid diets, feels so light. Lots of water, too.

Depends. Clear liquid diet, as for a colonoscopy prep?

I never craved Doritos so bad.

Plenty of fluids, and so sorry to hear about no-one.

@Jeruba Not clear liquid. Just easy on the digestive track. No tests are going to be done.

Well made chocolate malts, the great narcotic of my extremely skinny youth.

I like Progresso soup, so I would just put mine in the blender.

Tea is generally easy on the digestive track.
I’m presently nursing a bottle of Seven Teas organic white peach oolong.

Also low sodium chicken and beef broth.

Homemade bone broth. Homemade almond milk. Watered-down apple cider if you feel shaky or have low blood sugar.

Possibly homemade juices or smoothies (make sure to include as many veggies as possible).

I avoid dairy in general, but would recommend not including it in your liquid diet. Happy to provide recipes for the recommendations above – I make homemade bone broth and almond milk often. If I wasn’t eating food, I’d also avoid caffeine.

I love green smoothies. I have one almost every day. It’s mostly spinach, with some green apple, a large knob of turmeric, lemon juice, half a banana, and a little bit of frozen pineapple and water.

Tomatoe juice and soups.

Thanks. I usually look it up, but didn’t this time, and of course chose the wrong one.
