Can I put plant vitamins "for seedlings" on adult plants?

Asked by kneesox (4593points) June 18th, 2021

I have some “SUPERthrive Plant Vitamin for Seedlings.” I don’t have any seedlings. I do have older houseplants. Can I put this on them? Will it do any harm, or is it just like regular plant food?

They won’t do any harm, but it is not “just like regular plant food” because food/fertilizer for seedlings is less robust to keep from burning the seedlings.

Yes. No harm can come of it.

My husband says to use more water on mixing for older plants. Too hot at full strength. He’s an amazing gardener.
