Maybe it would depend on which holiday? For instance, if it’s some minor holiday, but you’d always have a day off school/work, that could be a perk.

PS: It says “borthday” in your topics, lol!

I wish I could think of some, but it’s just an unfortunate circumstance. That person will never have the total amount of celebration that he deserves because he’ll always be splitting it with something else’s attention.

Never have to work on your birthday?
Pretend that strangers are also celebrating your birthday?

@lan: my iPod touch still doesn’t know what words I like to use. I’m lazy and rely on autocorrect. And it’s too late to edit the q.

No worries zack…I think we all got the gist!

Hey Gimmedat – chime in here! Gimmedat’s birthday is Christmas Eve and she has never been all that fond of having a birthday so close to a major holiday.

Depends on the kind of holiday I guess – I find it kinda cool that someone, somewhere decided to make my birthday in to International Mental Health day!

My mom was born on Halloween. I seem to remember her saying when she was a kid she didn’t like it, but I think I might be wrong, because she loves it.

My birthday occasionally falls on/near Palm Sunday. When I was a kid and had to go to church, I liked to think that they were passing out the palm leaves in my honor. :D

My birthday is on Dec.31. After my mother (Dec. 3), Hannukah, Xmas, my father (Dec. 27) everyone was worn out. I have always celebrated unbirthdays because of that. Is Dec. 31st the worst day to have a b’day? It gets my vote.

NONE. Nada, Zip, Zilch. My birthday is two days after Christmas. I never had a real birthday party with cake, guests, Chuck-eCheese and such until I got older and threw birthday parties for myself! It totally sucked @$$. I have elected to have my birthday celebrations from 2009 and forward in October. :)

My birthday is on April Fools Day. I have had so many practical jokes played on me because of it I’ve lost count. One time in high school my friends actually conspired with my calculus teacher to “fail” me on an important exam (senior year, when maintaining college acceptances hung in the balance) just so they could later tell me it was a joke. Yeah, great.

Hey, take it this way, your party can be two times bigger than it should be! (I think)

My son’s birthday is on Groundhog Day (not that it’s such a national holiday or anything). But it has helped me to remember his birthday… and what day Groundhog Day is.

That’s something, I guess.

My own birthday is the day before Halloween, so I guess you could say that I’m a Halloweeneen kid. (Or was, decades ago when I could have been called “a kid”.)

Happy Birthday, @LikeABird. If I’d known, I’d’a baked bought a cake.
