If you’re talking skeletons, I’ve got a ton of them in my proverbial closet. As far as my clothes closet goes, I’ve got nothing weird. That’s what my undies drawer is for.

peedub is back!

As far as the question goes, what goes on in my closet stays in my closet…

poofandmook's avatar

I’m not sure what’s in my closet is appropriate content for Fluther.

AstroChuck's avatar

Oooh. If it’s half as good as I’m imagining… wow!!!

loser's avatar

I have a gigantic dildo in my closet. You never know when that may come in handy!

augustlan's avatar

@loser: Your address, please?

gimmedat's avatar

@loser, FREAKY!

loser's avatar

Ha! If you’re serious, I’ll gladly PM you!!!

AstroChuck's avatar

Just curious, what did you name it?

augustlan's avatar

Well, hubby might not like that, so…you can just mail it to me!

The weird objects question just got weird!

breedmitch's avatar

I have a pair of powder blue, 5 inch high, wooden platform shoes with silver studs around the toes a la Elton John. Don’t ask.

Bluefreedom's avatar

I have a sock puppet that vaguely resembles the comedian Carrot Top.

loser's avatar

I named it gigantar. Trust me, it lives up to it’s name!!!

loser's avatar

And no, I ain’t mailing it anywhere! It’s my finest asset!!!

AstroChuck's avatar

It’s in your fine what?!

loser's avatar

Hey, Astro, you gotta see this this thing!!

augustlan's avatar

@loser: Why on Earth do you have such a thing, anyway? Or shouldn’t I ask?

Wine3213's avatar

A samurai sword that supposedly was actually used in killing people.

AstroChuck's avatar

I wonder how it would fare up against Gigantar?

Wine3213's avatar

I don’t know. Gigantar sounds pretty fierce.

cak's avatar

Weirdest? I guess my helmet that I wear when I ride our dirt bikes or 4wheelers. My husband had this one painted for me, and I’ve had two stolen…figured this would be a better place. Other than that…my lunchboxes from when I was a child.

A Japanese soldier’s helmet, canteen (with a Japanese soldier’s name stitched into it) and a used bayonet from WWII.

It has blood stains.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@asmonet – Wow, those are some seriously historical artifacts from the war.

asmonet's avatar

@Blue: Blame grandpa, he was a marine, I know for a fact he took those when he needed to, he also delivered a sword he had to take from a man in Japan after the war. But I know he took the helmet and the canteen off a dead man.

It’s kind of creepy, but a little bit awesome. :-/

Bluefreedom's avatar

@asmonet – That is pretty awesome when you think about it. I wonder what the additional history might be on those items like which battle did he acquire them from, which geographical location were they at, and things like that. Very interesting, in my opinion.

stratman37's avatar

The original blueprints to my house – built in ‘46.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@jonfreed. Someone is bound to ask this sooner or later so I’ll just get it over with. (and this is all in fun so please don’t take offense)

So, what’s it like when you come out of the closet? No longer weird? :o)

deaddolly's avatar

Speaking as someone with many gay friends, some who are over 50 and STILL not out of the closet and some who are 19 and have been out for years;
it is not easy. I respect everyone who does so, in their own time. Seems the sooner the better, tho.

Hmm, lets see, Heroclix, a bookshelf overflowing with books, a box of comics, more comics in a stack, hmm what else, my US Navy Officer’s Deck-coat, My Soviet Russian Naval Deck-coat (non-officer), hmm, redwing motorcycle boots (that’s gotta count as weird right?) Uh… what else? A black hat that has “Area 51 Security” stitched into the front! A puffer fish stress relief ball from the movie finding nemo (my squishie), uh bath salts, fire-proof safe…. Prom dress… and a million books on bugs :) Yeaahah I’m a little weird!

AtSeDaEsEpPoAoSnA's avatar

You are as close to normal as it gets.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@science….Judging from the contents in that closet of yours, we might be more apt to label you ‘pack rat’ as opposed to calling you ‘weird’. :o)

@Bluefreedom:

Earthquakes, flash-floods, that sort of thing. Oh, and the Dow seems to plummet. Yeah, I said it: that’s me.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@jonfreed. I hear you. It’s a brave new world and it’s about to get a lot more uncertain with a new president about take up office. And the world is watching…...
