Lambskin leather?

Asked by Spargett (5395points) November 21st, 2008 from iPhone

I’ve noticed alot of products are using lambskin leather for things such as shoes and jackets. What are the benefits of lamb over cow?

I guess I just never suspected the viability of lamb.

I have a lamb skin leather jacker. It is a lot softer than the cowhide.

It’s softer and generally more innocent.

A lambskin jacket might be ideal for a Vespa but not a Harley.

lamb skin is easy to rip, but you can get a cow hide that is a nappa also very soft and thin like a lamb nappa.
