Pistachio or French Vanilla

Better pecan.

(Soy ice cream~)

gailcalled's avatar

What does soy ice cream taste like?

azul's avatar

@gailcalled It’s called “better pecan” because it is vegan and therefore does not have butter in it. It’s a pun~

gailcalled's avatar

Thanks. I corrected myself.

AstroChuck's avatar

Licorice from Marianne’s Ice Cream in Santa Cruz.

tiggersmom's avatar

That licorice sounds interesting astrochuck.

Mint, and that holds true to any thing I eat. If I could flavor every food I eat to taste like Salt and Mint, I would already be dead.

tiggersmom's avatar

Mint is actually helpful to the stomach, heartburn in particular. Salt however, hmmmmm. YUM!!!!

gailcalled's avatar

Salt ice cream. Now there’s a gustatory thought. It ranks up there with garlic, broccoli and bubble-gum flavoured ice cream/

Whatever is the deepest,darkest, richest chocolate available at the moment. Just finished some Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Gharadelli chocoate from stone cold creamery is very good as well.

* Spumoni
* Coffee
* Cake Batter
* Maple

and there’s a gourmet ice cream shop nearby that sells:

* Bacon
* Cardamom
* Smoked Sea Salt and Caramel
* Balsamic Strawberry
* Thai Iced Tea

They’re all really good.

@gailcalled: I was skeptical at first, but the smoked sea salt and caramel was really, really good!

My favorite is mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone.

asmonet's avatar

Butter Pecan, Turtle, Min Chocolate Chip, Cookie Dough, and Vanilla Bean. I like them all in sugar cones, the crappy chemical filled wafer things, cause then you get the delicious grid of mushy crunchy creamy cone bite.

Depends on what I’m in the mood for, really.

googlybear's avatar

Spumoni….now I have to stop salivating :-)

Raggedy_Ann's avatar

Chocolate, strawberry, almost any thing from Cold Stone Creamery. Oh! did I say chocolate?

tiggersmom's avatar

Yeah, I tend to do that with these food questions. lol

Strawberry cheesecake

There are too many delicious flavors but I do enjoy Ben and Jerry’s Oatmeal Cookie and also their Mint Oreo Cookie.

Gruz06's avatar

Vanilla Bean and Caramel Praline.

MacBean's avatar

Cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, butter pecan. In that order. I also like Stewart’s vanilla. And I agree with asmonet on the cones, too. That last bite of a wafer cone is the BEST.

figbash's avatar

@MacBean: Stewart’s vanilla – YESSS! There’s something about it that I can’t explain – it makes the best shakes too. I’m from Upstate New York, so Stewart’s is one of those nifty regional places I remember fondly.

MacBean's avatar

@figbash—In April I moved from the Albany area to Idaho but I moved back after just a couple of months. When people ask me why and I don’t feel like getting into the serious reasons, I tell them I missed Stewart’s ice cream.

B & J’s Karamel Sutra. It’s like a caramel sundae. Or Raspberry Chocolate Truffle

Allie's avatar

Mint chocolate chip. Or rather Ben and Jerry’s mint chocolate chunk. The white mint is the best.

jlm11f's avatar

I like chocolate and strawberry. For chocolate, I like most combinations of chocolate ice creams. But if it’s strawberry, it must be plain strawberry with actual fruit chunks in it.

El_Cadejo's avatar

Ben and Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake and the Peach Cobbler one are great. Aside from that i really like black raspberry ice cream or black cherry. mmmmmmmm

Mocha almond fudge!

azul's avatar

@gailcalled Soy ice cream tends to have a thinner flavor than ice cream. Honestly it’s not anywhere near my favorite vegan food (or food that happens to be vegan), but it’s fun to get some with a friend while feeling silly and self-indulgent.

bythebay's avatar

I’m pretty sure that fresh peach ice cream is on the 10 best things in the world list…but in a pinch spumoni, cherry garcia, and then uberbatman and I will have some pumpkin cheesecake together.

dynamicduo's avatar

I used to love mint flavour, and still do. But I also have a soft spot for vanilla. Here in Canada the biggest grocery chain produces a huge variety of products under the President’s Choice brand. This includes one of my super favorite ice cream types, vanilla chocolate crackle. It’s seriously one of the best ice creams I’ve ever eaten, and is a decent price as well.

EmpressPixie's avatar

Minty chocolate chip for frozen yogurt. Ginger or pumpkin for ice cream. But I really love the minty chocolate chip froze yogurt. I haven’t ever found it in ice cream, so I can’t vouch for it there. It’s chocolate-mint ice cream with chocolate chips. Yummy!

El_Cadejo's avatar

@lercio where did you get bacon and egg ice cream, ive been considering making it for some time now.

lercio's avatar

@uberbatman I don’t think you can buy it in a tub, it’s one of Heston Blumenthal’s signature dishes, he’s a well know chef in the UK. Along with snail porridge.

El_Cadejo's avatar

@lercio i know you cant buy it in a tub, but there are a couple small ice cream shops that also feature it. Just not in my area :(

So what was it like? As awesome as im imagining it?

trudacia's avatar

Ben and Jerry’s Chubby Hubby or Haagan Daaz Vanilla Swiss Almond.

tiggersmom's avatar

You couldn’t get me to eat an ice cream with a meat flavor even if I was preggers. Gross.

tiffyandthewall's avatar

strawberry or peanut butter chocolate.
i honestly judge an ice cream establishment by their strawberry ice cream. if they can’t make one of the three basic flavors (and what i think is the most important of them) taste good, they can’t have my money. [;
ps there’s this ice cream place on the beach that only canadians on vacation go to near me, and they have the most orgasmic strawberry ice cream in the world, and it’s only $1.50. last time i went there they changed the store front and i nearly cried because i thought they tore it down. it is that good.
