Do you think Rick Warren is correct in his views about homosexuality is right?

I am opposed to Prop 8 so I don’t think his views are right…he has the right to his opinion and I have the right to mine…

@Judi: Both links lead to the same video. After hearing what he had to say, I still don’t agree with his views about gay marriage. But I can respect his viewpoint…he was compassionate and practical.

Thanks Aug. I don’t know why the video about civil rights didn’t show up.
I know that many will disagree with his view point, but people need to know that he is not villifying gays and that even though he has a conservative Christian view point towards gay lifestyle in is congregation, he still chooses to treat all people, even those who don’t agree with him, with respect.

I don’t agree with his views either, but my respect for him increased. He had a good point in the video about how media play up conflict to make a good story. He looks like a thoughtful guy, and I can see why Obama chose him for the Inauguration.

Warren says in this video: “Gays should use another term.” (His beef is just with the definition of marriage.) “It’s all about love… No American should ever be discriminated against because of their beliefs.”
