Is there some basic difference between the united Way and Community Foundations?

Who they give the money too.

Personally I do not give to united way. Although they give to some worthwile charities, they also give to several that openly support discrimination.

Before donating, check them out to see how they use the money you give them. Give to the ones who support the ideals you do.
