How many Flutherites are there and what is the average age?

For what it’s worth:
Female, 22, Single, Student, Northern Virgina, USA.

My guess is our average age is in the low thirties.
Did you search Fluther? There are lots of questions dealing with our average ages and stuff. I think I remember 300 accounts being mentioned long ago, but I could be way off.

Male, 19, Single, Student, Wichita Kansas
and age of 28 is my guess. and 450 accounts.

Those stats are interesting though as it suggests a lot of the traffic comes from lurkers. Which I guess makes sense as the site must be going some way to paying for itself and seeing as how ads are only shown to non members there must be quite a few of them.

Also interesting is that the average visitor is better educated yet earns less money than the average. If stats are to be believed. Although all that fluthering does get in the way of ones work life!

@dik2312 Thanks, they had interesting info there, but what is the source? I don’t recall being asked about my annual income or education when I started.

@introv I never saw it before or I wouldn’t have asked it! I just figured must be a younger group though because there is so much idealism. Cynicism seems to grow with age.

It is definitely intriguing and a bit addictive, not only the answers but the questions as well.

@rooeytoo I’m not too sure tbh. Just saw it as an answer to a similar question and thought I’d refer you out of interest. I actually find it a little disturbing! Not sure how accurate it really is though.
