Google Chrome scrolling help?

Asked by mrswho (1690points) February 18th, 2009

I just downloaded Google Chrome and I can’t seem to get the little scrolly button on my laptop to scroll for me. The button is between the mouse buttons and below my touch pad and has four ridges on it that usually let me scroll on the web but now I press it and it does nothing. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? (Chrome also has spell-check and tabbed browsing, which is terrific!)

It’s about time you downloaded Chrome! I don’t know about your problem though. My scroll wheel works just fine.

I CAN CHECK MY SPELLING NOW! ! ! :D That amazqes me. (jk) No, really, I type things wrong, and get a little squiggly line, then can fix it! And I love tabbed browsing, its so much easier.

Chrome is awesome. Freaking awesome. But anyway, with regards to your issue, I’d probably…check your mouse settings or something and make sure that button is set for universal scrolling? Can’t do much without actually seeing the issue…sorry bout that. Screenshot maybe?

@HeroicZach I’ll check my mouse settings, good tip.
