I am competitive in everything other than sports.

I do not care about anything that has to do with any sport.

Perhaps you and me together would make a completely competitive person.

I’m not competitive at all. :P I like playing sports (tennis) but it’s just for fun.

I believe being competitive can take away from from one’s spiritual growth. Concentrating on how “better” others are at material things breeds anger, hatred, envy, and a sense of “otherness” (ie your team, and the “other team”) It can be such a distraction and a waste of time.

I dunno, just my .02 cents. Just how I was raised. My parents may have forced me to try new activities, study hard, and expand my horizons, but I was NEVER pushed to be competitive, thank god. :)

Depends. I get competitive while playing trivia board games and scrabble. Other than that, no, not really.

I’m only competitive when I’m winning.
When I’m losing, I’m incredibly laid back. :)

I don’t really care. I like drinking beer and reading books.

Its just you.
You are the only one in the world.

I think competition can drive you to be better, but sometimes it can get in the way of cooperation, and that can be really bad when cooperation is really important.

As long as it’s in fun, then competition between sports fans is fine. When fans start taking it too seriously, things get ugly fast.

I’m not competitive about anything much. I do shout out the answers to Jeopardy questions and Wheel of Fortune puzzles before anyone else can though.

To all the people that say that LSU sucks then why are they the only collage team that has won 2 BCS Championships? Can you answer that for me?

seekingwolf's avatar

@LouisianaGirl

Has anyone on that team been caught using drugs/steroids?

In my mind, if players do that, that makes them an automatic FAIL.

LouisianaGirl's avatar

@seekingwolf no they haven`t and they have Trindon Holiday, the fastest man in the history of football!

Blondesjon's avatar

@LouisianaGirl…Until college football implements a playoff system there are no “champion bragging rights.”

you may as well call them BS championships because it’s not always the best two teams playing

LouisianaGirl's avatar

@Blondesjon I`m not going to get mad because I`m trying to not be so competitive and I repect your opinion and I`m sorry I popped off. Please accept my apology.

Blondesjon's avatar

@LouisianaGirl…No need for apologies. My comment is for any team that has won a BCS championship.

if you can’t get hyped up and loud about football you shouldn’t be watching :)

Yea I`m trying to get over my competitiveness. But I`ll add you to my fluther!!!!
