Asked by BronxLens (1539points) March 6th, 2009

What do you think are among the very best books for a teenager to read to learn about personal finance? Someone suggested “I Want to Be Rich! a Teenager’s Modem to Money: Financial Planning for Teenagers. It’s for my nephews & nieces (ages 14–19)

For the nieces I recommend On My Own Two Feet by Manisha Thakor and Sharon Kedar. It is so good. And it’s completely understandable for a teenager.

‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ by Robert Kiyosaki. It’s a great read and it will stick with you.
