Should I bother going to the store today to TRY to get a copy of the movie "Twilight" or do you think they're all sold out by now?

Asked by Mr_M (7621points) March 21st, 2009

They started selling them at 12:01 this MORNING. Anyone hear anything?

Most stores nowadays are carrying adequate supplies for both films and video games. Also, there are other stores that sell the movie, such as video game stores, grocery stores, and even the chain of pharmacies called Shoppers Drug Mart will have copies of it in my area (they buy it because they know people want it, and they’ll come in to get it). All of these stores (minus the video game store) had the various editions of Harry Potter for the same reason. Give them a call and they’ll let you know if they have it or not.

And then you can order it from Amazon and it will come to your door. You won’t even have to get dressed.

It shouldn’t be hard to knock down the 12 year olds and snatch a copy out of their trembling hands.

Netflix shipped it to me. I should have it in the mailbox this afternoon.

@elijahsuicide , never thought of that. Good idea.

My husband was driving home from work, and saw Blockbuster still open..he didn’t know it was for the Twilight release. He said it was filled with crying screaming girls. I’d say you might need to wait a bit.

A lot of places that sold the DVD had parties at midnight this morning and made a big deal of it. That’s why I wondered.

It turns out, it was available EVERYWHERE, even at “Stop and Shop”.
