How can I find out if he's ok?

You don’t know his name and roughly where he lives? That’s a sad situation. Hope he is ok. Fucked up parenting throwing him out for being gay.

If you have a mail from him, you could do a trace on his IP, and call that ISP and convince them to send a black and white to check him. Not likely, but it’s a possibility.

In any case. His life decisions is his responsibility, but it’s good that he has someone who is worried about him. Maybe that’s something he needs to know.

Have you PMed him? That’s really as far as you can go. It does suck that we have no way of knowing for sure, but it’s a function of the internet. It’s entirely possible that he is simply otherwise engaged (I know I kinda disappeared for the past couple days because my mom came to visit and I was busy with her). We can only do so much. While fluther is a great, supportive place, it only goes so far. I wish him the best, by all means.

Is he talking about himself?

Do you have any emails from him that might have been sent to others as well? Maybe there are some email addresses on there of people who know him that might be able to help you track him down. I know most people use blind carbon copies when forwarding stuff to a bunch of people, but maybe you’ll get lucky.

If you have his nick and he has an active gay life, you might find him on gay communities.

Hey may not have internet access since he’s been thrown out of his home. Does he have other online friends you can contact who may know him in person?

You can do a reverse email search. It probably costs a couple dollars but I’m not sure.
